KPI Framework

Never rate search conversion with one digit.

A healthy KPI set distinguishes between use, relevance, buying behaviour and reliability of the attribution.

Attributed conversion rate

Share of relevant search interactions that lead to an assigned order within the chosen definition.

Search CTR

Share of searches with a product click. Strong CTR without conversion can indicate the wrong attractiveness.

No-result rate

Show how much demand does not get a usable result.

Unattributed share

Track which part of the orders received cannot be responsibly linked to search.

Order value

Compare the value of attributed orders with other purchase routes, without automatically adopting causality.

Time to purchase

Helps assess whether the attribution window fits the actual buying cycle.

Query segments

Split brand, SKU, category, problem and long-tail queries.

Store and device

Compare stores and devices separately to make local or mobile problems visible.
